Iarintsena lies on the N7-highway and is easily reachable from both Antananarivo (473 km) and Fianarantsoa (61 km). By public transport you will change cars at Ambalavao, the last town before Iarintsena. |
To get to Madagascar, your best bet is to fly from Paris by Corsair, Air Madagascar or Air France. Air Madagascar also has a direct flight from Milan in Italy. Don't get discouraged by the small size of this company, it is probably the best on the African continent, with unlimited eating and drinking on all intercontinental flights. Other options include connecting flights with South African Airways, Kenya Airways, or one of the companies flying to Reunion (from where there are several flights per day to Antananarivo). |
